Calnet

Farm and rural internet

Our fixed wireless towers reach well beyond the town limits of Calvinia, Nieuwoudtville and Loeriesfontein, so many farms can get fast, month-to-month internet. Most farms don't have a street address, so the easiest way to check is to drop a pin on our coverage map.

The Rooivlei farm tower

Calnet's Rooivlei tower is live and serving the farms. Everyone within a 20 km radius of the tower, in all directions, can get reliable internet, and the tower has excellent capacity. Contact us for installation options at your farm.

All Rooivlei farm tower packages are month to month, uncapped, unshaped and unthrottled.

Near a town tower?

Farms close to Calvinia, Nieuwoudtville or Loeriesfontein are often covered by our town towers. In that case the standard fixed wireless packages apply, from R400 per month for 10 Mbps up to R1 200 for 80 Mbps, with the same three antenna payment options.

Just outside coverage?

If your farm falls outside the current coverage, let us know. We use coverage requests to plan where the next towers and links go.
